When I was 8 years old, my parents took my brother and me to New York to visit my aunt and uncle. We also drove further north into Canada. The weather was very chilly and I remember seeing the beautiful fall colors of the leaves.

I'll get you started Mrs. Thomas... I have been both far north and south! I have been to Iceland and then as far south as Belize, with LOTS of states and a few countries in between.

The farthest I have traveled south is to the island country of Martinique. The farthest I have traveled north is into Canada, but only a few miles while my family visited Glacier National Park in Montana. The farthest I have traveled west is to San Francisco, California.
The first student who can tell me in miles how far I traveled south will get a prize from the library.
